June 2012 “The African Diaspora” Conclusion
Thanks to all who participated, bookmarked, read, and shared our posts dedicated to this month’s theme “The African Diaspora.” The response we received was outstanding and the feedback was encouraging. Ranging from submissions, support, comments, etc, we really appreciated those who have joined in on this social movement. We also highly appreciate those who expressed that they could relate to the entries for this month, and those who left comments on entries.
We would like to thank our guest contributors: Kwesi, Sherese Francis, Sabrina Moella, KiKi Ochieng, Kelly Samuel, Evelyn Ngugi, Abigail Mensah, andMichelle Byamugisha for their submissions. Their entries were able to touch an impressive range of people who could connect to their stories and shared experiences. They’re all inspirational Africans representing Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Gambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Carribeans spread throughout various nations in the world. They’re impressive people doing great things with their lives so check them out and see what all they’ve got going on. Their contact information is located at the bottom of their respective entry. We hope that you’ll be joining them as Rise Africa guest contributors in future series to come.
Thanks everyone for reading, commenting, and spreading the word about us. Stay tuned for what we have coming up for July. And remember, please do not hesitate to contribute to next month’s theme!
